Stunning Cabin and Location…And Kelly! Words cannot describe how wonderful and beautiful this home is. Our family trip with our best friends (7 people total) was one for the ages. We all had room to spread out, but came together for meals and movies! The location is gorgeous! We had wildlife visit every day. The location is so convenient to Ski Apache and the Ruidoso midtown area. Our host was wonderful. Kelly checked in with us when we arrived via text and was so responsive to our questions. The decor of the home was very charming. The beds are comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. – Marisol, March 2023

 

Beautiful Cabin! I went on vacation with my in-laws and there was plenty of space for everyone. Walking distance to a beautiful creek where we were able to see deer and elk. Very comfy beds and an overall cozy feel. Definitely will be back the next time we are in Ruidoso! – Josi, January 2023

 

Excellent! First things first: Great, easy and quick response communication with host. Enough rooms and space for 14, actually, plenty. All three levels very clean, everything one needs in all the bedrooms, pillows, covers, and towels! Mattresses and pillows, very comfortable. Kitchen has everything to cook all three meals. Enough parking for 4 trucks or 5 cars. Great location, clean all around, close to Farley’s, gas station and Ruidoso downtown. Ruidoso down, Capitan, Lincoln, Hondo and #1 Only Real Authentic Mexican food at “El Agave,” with excellent service. 4 Bears Cabin was EXCELLENT for family or groups up to 14 guests. Great Hospitality, way way better than a hotel, is like being at home. We loved it and coming back, you won’t regret it. – Rudy, September 2022

 

Best VRBO property ever. Our family has stayed at numerous VRBO properties in New Mexico over the years and this one was the best in every way. It was clean, nicely furnished, beautiful location, close to town, and the property manager and housekeeper were very responsive. We had a wonderful, relaxing family time together. No bears, just deer. Although there were no bear sitings (no worry there), we did see a family of deer during our stay at this fabulous cabin, nestled in the mountains near Ruidoso. With just a short drive to the city (shopping, golf and entertainment), this cabin offered a safe, comfortable stay for our girls’ weekend. The space and layout was more than accommodating. Exceptionally large bedrooms, providing several king size bed options, and private bathrooms to match. Both soft and firm mattress offerings so everyone could have a choice that suited their sleeping style. Wonderful sheets, towels and lighting – it gave you a sense the owner had thought through our every need. In the evening, we enjoyed a beautiful deck overlooking the mountain. Fun family getaway. There was plenty of room for our group of 5 adults and 6 kids taking an extended weekend trip for some late February skiing at Ski Apache. The cabin was perfect with all the necessary accommodations. Communication with Kelly was prompt and he sent someone by to address a couple of minor challenges we had. We’ll be back the next time we have a family ski trip to NM. I highly recommend 4 Bears Cabin! P.S. Cozy cabin with many amenities. The property was everything that we wanted and needed for our stay. The property was clean, organized and close to town. Perfect cabin for families. We loved staying in this cabin. Kelly was a great communicator and the cabin was perfect. The teenagers absolutely loved the loft and it was nice to have space for the kids downstairs while we enjoyed the view on the main level. Beautiful and spacious!!!! Our entire family loved the cabin. very nice and spacious. Plenty of room for all and beautiful scenery. This the 3rd cabin I’ve stayed at for a large family and this was by far the best one!!! Close to the tubing location and minimal traffic from outside World. Deer and horses all around. Our favorite cabin. This is the second time that we choose 4 bears cabin for our family vacation. We love the location. It’s a perfect place to just venture out in the woods. Nice little creek. Perfect accommodations close to Ski Apache. The accommodations were perfect with two master bedrooms on the main level (down a couple steps from the driveway) along with the kitchen and main living room. The two bedrooms downstairs plus the other living room provided perfect separation for us adults and the kids. And the loft was an added bonus! The cabin was well appointed and we didn’t need to feel we missed much of anything. Would definitely recommend and will plan to stay here again in the future! – Michael J, March 2019

 

Perfect place for our quick family reunion! We had four families staying here for our family reunion and the space was great. Despite no snow, it was a quick drive to the winter snow park for a fun day of tubing (on the manmade snow.) We drove from Texas and brought coolers of food with us. The kitchen is well set up for preparing your own dinners each night. All in all we were very comfortable and would definitely recommend this cabin to others. – Ellen Mae M, January 2019

 

Our stay at 4 Bears cabin moves to the top of best vacation stays! My family enjoyed every minute of our stay at 4 Bears cabin. We went snowboarding, road the gondola, play in the snow right outside the cabin on the. There were deer everywhere and even got to feed a couple of them. The accommodations were everything we needed and more. One of the most memorable parts of the vacation was on our last day there, 5 wild horses came up to us on the porch of the cabin out of nowhere.
